Fly tying evenings

Written by on . 0 Comments

The Denbigh and Clwyd Angling club is holding a series of free fly tying tuition sessions again this winter that will be open to non-members.

Similar to last year, they’re being held at Denbigh Fire Station, opposite the town’s Morrison’s supermarket starting at 7pm on Wednesday 21 October and continuing at the same time each week until the end of November.  They will also start again in January if there is sufficient interest.

The sessions will be informal and there will be a welcome for beginners, anglers wanting to improve their fly tying skills and experts prepared to share their expertise with fellow anglers.  There will also be plenty of hints and tips available from club members who are experienced fly tyers and the chance to discuss and find out more about some of the fishing controlled by the club including new fishing that will be available to club members for the 2016 season.

Anybody interested in attending should phone club secretary, Allan Cuthbert, on 07527 402291 to reserve a place.
