Yesterday saw Natural Resources Wales hold their Board meeting in Bangor, where their proposals for the 2018 Salmon and Seatrout Byelaws were put forward.
Thanks to the 549 anglers across Wales who responded to the consultation, there have been some amendments to the original proposal.

The next stage is for this to be passed by the Welsh Assembly.
On Tuesday 24th April, NRW confirmed the Byelaw proposals have not been approved by the Welsh Assembly so the previous rules will still apply for the 2018 season. The current 2018 Byelaws for Wales can be found here:
