Fly tying classes

Through-out the winter months there will be fly tying classes run localy for anyone interested. Ideal for the beginner!
They are being held every Monday night 7-9pm at The Cocoa Room, Llandurnog (opposite church), for more information phone 01745 710109

New Bass Lures to foxon's

We are pleased to say we have sourced some of the Xorus, and Tacklehouse bass lures ie.Patchinkos, Frosty 2, Asturie, Feed Shallow, Feed Popper.
These should be in stock in the spring, as soon as they come in we'll be listing them here online.
North Wales Coastal fishing Report

It's got to that funny inbetween time of year now, the whiting are getting fewer, and it's still not quite warm enough for any spring species to start showing up yet. Although we've heard of there still being some Bass caught futher west ie. the Llyn. We had a staff outting to Penmaenmawr beach in search of some rays, as Feburary should be the month for them, but we had no luck. Maybe worth another visit in a week or so?!

Brenig fishing report

It will soon be time to finish with fly tying and grayling fishing (Dee’s been good this winter) and turn our thoughts to trout fishing. The Brenig and Alwen seasons run from the 17th March to 31st October. The mild winter with the water temperature never dropping below 4 degrees has enabled us to rear some fine rainbows with one cage already in the 3-4 lb range.
