We have choosen lake Vyrnwy in Mid Wales for our 'somewhere special' reccomendation.  Not only does this lake boast a natural beauty beyond words, it also offers so much to the nature lover including, of course, some very nice fishing.   We have had some excellent reports last year from our customer who had visited the lake, with Brown trout a plenty and even a few Chub on the fly just for something different!  To make this place even more special, it has on it's banks one of the most lush hotels in Wales.  This is where the fishing is arranged from, although you do not have to be staying at the hotel to fish, they do offer some good packages....go on, spoil yourself!!

Stocked with a good head of Brown trout, a days boat fishing on Vyrnwy is bound to be one that will stay with you for a long time.
