Match landing nets all feature larger mesh on the sides to reduce water resistance and improve manoeuvrability and finer mesh at the base to cradle the fish.
The whole net including the frame is in a muted bronze/olive colour. When submerged this looks so natural and ‘weed like’ that fish are less net shy. Some species – especially chub and carp – will occasionally dive into the net rather than veering away.
The alloy spreader block on the two largest models has an additional crossbar to add strength and provide a convenient handle for lifting and transferring carp to the keepnet.
